Our Impact
The AISD Education Foundation has approved 100% of the grant applications submitted. Additional giving includes supporting teachers new to the district with $100 and $500 to teachers brand new to the teaching field to help with classroom expenses associated with getting started in a new profession or new school. Additionally the Aquilla Education Foundation regularly sponsors Staff Back to School activities which have included meals, gift giveaways, and off-site creative training opportunities.
Below is a list of the projects that we are proud to have had the opportunity to support.

Stage Projector
The projector provided by the Aquilla ISD Education Foundation is a state-of-the-art device that allows one-act play teachers to project scenes and images onto a large screen during performances. This makes the plays more dynamic and engaging, and requires less work to produce high-quality content. The projector is portable and easy to set up, making it an invaluable tool for the drama program at Aquilla ISD.

Raised Garden
The Aquilla ISD Education Foundation generously provided funding for a raised flowerbed on our school grounds, allowing our students to experience the joys of gardening and beautify their learning environment. The flowerbed provided a unique opportunity for our students to learn about plants and their growth cycle while also engaging in a hands-on activity that promotes teamwork, creativity, and responsibility.

Cougar Paws Kids
Aquilla ISD Education Foundation is proud to support Cougar Paws Kids, a program that brings joy to both students and parents. The foundation has provided generous funding for art and craft supplies, which allows teachers to create a fun and engaging environment for program participants. With these resources, the students can explore their creativity and develop new skills while having fun. The foundation is thrilled to contribute to the success of this program and the growth of its young participants.

Squirrel!!! - Impero Class
We at the AISD Education Foundation are proud to announce our support for Impero Class, an innovative internet monitoring software designed to enhance the educational experience of high school students at Aquilla ISD. By providing funding for this program, we are helping students stay focused and productive while working online. It is our pleasure to be able to support this invaluable resource that ensures students have a safe and distraction-free environment to learn and succeed in.

Staff Vending Machine
The Aquilla Education Foundation has invested in a staff vending machine, allowing snacks and refreshments to be provided to staff at or below cost. This enables the Foundation to offer a variety of options, including healthy snacks, without the added expense associated with conventional vending services. By doing so, the Foundation is demonstrating its commitment to supporting the Aquilla ISD staff both in and outside of the classroom.
